Its getting hot in here...

So yesterday at the ridiculously early hour of 12pm, there was a FIRE in the dorms!!! I woke up to the fire alarm blaring and the smell of smoke in the hall. After a couple minutes the fire 'brigade' arrived to put out a fire that had started after someone fell asleep cooking. The room was a floor below us and didnt really effect us very much. The 2nd floor smells of smoke but when we went to go look at the room the only real evidence were black marks on the door.

The rest of the day passed without incident aside from the fact that they dont know how to make good cream cheese here. Im very disappointed. Then that evening I ran into the girl whose room had caught on fire. She invited me to check out the apartment which was very dark due to the electricity being cut off to that room (it was night so no outside light). From the glow of my cell phone i was able to see a huge hole in the ceiling as well as many burnt cupboards. It was pretty cool. So we are all fine. The girl cooking had a very small burn on her thumb and suffered very little smoke inhalation.
